This installation was the result of a cross disciplinary project called 'Beyond Fiction.'

The project took real, existing stories and objects as a starting point and used them as a catalyst for generating work that travelled beyond reality and beyond fiction. It explored the nature of finding and telling, by relating real events, objects and evidence to create new narrative forms. It was from this project that my discovery of the world inside a rock began.

Each rock is a 'capsule of time', containing traces of life that span from hundreds, thousands maybe even millions of years ago to creatures living in the rock in the present. The circle formation of the installation was chosen to reflect the everlasting circle of life.
