interior of the rocks

Below is a series of paintings showing a journey through the world inside a rock. Each painting is an investigative study where I allow myself to look at the rock with concentration and become absorbed into this world. I want to portray the fact that these seemingly mundane objects are actually extraordinary. Through colour I have created light which subtly accentuates the wonder of the object.
